Seedy Saturday: Native Seeds

In collaboration with Sierra Club Canada, the Brockville Public Library is excited to be a distribution hub for seeds for the Let's Plant with Dutchman's Gold campaign. This campaign's goal is to plant 10 million native seeds across Canada, increasing our diversity of bees, butterflies, and other pollinators. The library is hosting a special Seedy Saturday event to help get 25,000 of these seeds into as many hands as possible.

Can't make it to the event? Seeds will be available at the library after the event while supplies last, so ask a staff member about them at the checkout desk.

Keep an eye out in the fall for another Seedy Saturday event where we will have 25,000 more seeds to give away! These seeds will require overwintering and need to be planted later in the year.
