A Historical Pottery session, make your own ancient artifacts using traditional methods.
As part of Tartan week Activities;
Come along and make your own 'Ancient Pottery' the way our ancestors did. You will be shown how to add ingredients into the clay, shown a demonstration of smoke firing and get to make your own beaker style pot.
A fun informal introduction to ancient pottery techniques with a ‘Pictish’ Potter. Make your own coil pots, decorate using neolithic techniques and experience smoke firing pottery.
at Balnacra Pottery with Vik Stonebridge.
all ages, under 16 accompanied by an adult.
wear old clothes, aprons provided.
£10 each.Deposit of £5 please.

The pottery will be dried, finished, smoke fired and ready for collection in a couple of weeks, If postage is required it is at cost ( usually £4.90 for one item )
