Come and explore the Plock – a wild green space to discover! Whether you're new to the area or know the paths well, this is a chance to see the land in a new way, meet some of the team who care for it, and find out how to get involved.
We’re running a relaxed day of guided walks, nature activities, and hands-on discovery – perfect for all ages.
No booking needed – just turn up, take part, and enjoy the outdoors at your own pace.

About Kevin Mulhern
Kevin Mulhern has spent much of his working life immersed in the outdoors – whether up in the trees, out on the water, or exploring wild landscapes. With a background in environmental work and hands-on conservation, Kevin brings a deep connection to nature and a passion for sharing it with others. His experience ranges from practical land management to community-based environmental activities, always rooted in getting people outside and engaged with the natural world.
