Hi All,
This Saturday we are at the Broadbeach Cultural Centre Beginners at 1pm and Jamming With The Stars at 2pm.
I have some great news!
The Broadbeach U3A Committee has approved a practice session for our Performances at Nursing Homes etc.
At these sessions we will be working on the songs that we play and look at how to make improvements to them.
I am pleased to announce that Diedre who is the Choir Group's keyboard player is going to join these sessions.
There will be three sessions per month on Wednesdays 12 noon to 2pm (including setup/packup), After our session the Choir Group will start at 2.30pm 4-4.30pm which I recommend if you have the time to stay for.
Although it is called a Choir it really isn't that formal and more like a group singalong with 20-30 people and like with Ukulele where if you play a wrong chord if you sing a wrong note no one notices ( I can vouch for that 😃).
Please note that you have to be a Broadbeach U3A Member for these new sessions.
Start date will be in August and I will let you know when.
Also did anyone find a pair of sunglasses last Saturday at Burleigh Waters Community Centre?
