Join us with creating The Second Life Map! - A guide to free, local and sustainable living in Brno.
Do you have any experience with dumpster diving, or would you like to discover unknown spot? Do you know about any local gardener or farmer selling their product around Brno? Would you like to learn what is Aquafaba? Do you want to be part of the community creating The Second Life Map?
Then this event is for you!
During the first evening, we will discover more about sustainable alternatives in Brno and collect as much information as possible to create the map for all Freegans ! You will get the chance to challenge your senses, and to taste seasonal, locals ingredients which you can find in every good gardens. Insects on the menu for the bravest!
Our ESC volunteer Célio, a future pastry chef passionate about sustainable living, started a project to create a unique map of Brno, one that highlights the best spots for dumpster-diving, thrift shopping and swap (clothes, flowers, plants, books…), urban gardening, community fridges, foraging and wild-crafting, free libraries, and he needs your help to create it!
That’s why we are inviting you to join two creative workshops, full of fun and collective discovery.
What’s the plan ?
- A mini-class on surprising, sustainable alternatives
- A blind test to challenge your taste buds and rethink ingredients !
- A moment to share YOUR tips and secret places for living sustainably in Brno
- The co-creation of “The second life map”, a collaborative, illustrated and beautiful guide of Brno made by and for conscious people
- You’ll get to draw, write, brainstorm, organize… and your ideas will become a printed guide shared across the Brontosaurus network!
- And of course…snacks and good vibes included!
Why?
Because sustainability is now more than ever important in 2025. Through sharing and fun, we’ll explore how to live more consciously in our daily lives.

Each session brings something different, you’re welcome to join one or both! the event will be held in English but we will help each other with the translation :)
