„My tent became my shelter“ je benefičný projekt, z ktorého celý výťažok pôjde priamo umelkyniam a umelcom z Palestíny, ktoré/í grafiky vytvorili. Vznikol na základe projektu belgického kolektívu „Flyers for Falastin“, ktorý pomocou grafík umelectva zo sveta šíri povedomie o prebiehajúcej genocíde na území Palestíny Izraelom. Plagáty sú voľne na stiahnutie a môžu sa voľne šíriť, nie však za účelom predaja, komerčného či benefičného.

Keďže projekt „My tent became my shelter“ má byť benefičným, muselo nastať osobné prepojenie s každou umelkyňou a každým umelcom, ktorej a ktorého grafiku si môžete zakúpiť. Každá a každý z nich si nastavili podmienky spolupráce tak, aby boli pre nich komfortné. Súčasťou každej grafiky je aj text, zdieľanie, myšlienky, či životopis umelkýň a umelcov. Uživateľstvu sa tak chcú priblížiť nielen ich grafikami ale aj slovami. Veľa z nich nechce byť vnímaných plocho, ako umelkyňou/umelcom, grafičkou/grafikom, palestínčankou/palestínčanom, muslimkou/muslimom. Chcú byť predovšetkým vnímané a vnímaní ako živé ľudské bytosti, ktoré chcú so svojimi rodinami a blízkymi žiť, a nielen prežívať. Nechcú byť v neustálom strachu a nekomforte, no zažívať každodennú radosť, lásku, normality každodenného života, či smútok a hnev, v krajine bezpečnej, nie krajine, ktorá je už dlhé desaťročia obliehaná a utláčaná.

The project "My tent became my shelter" is a beneficial project, with all proceeds going directly to the artists from Palestine who created the graphics. It was created on the basis of a project by the Belgian collective "Flyers for Falastin," which uses graphic art from around the world to raise awareness about the ongoing genocide in Palestine by Israel. The posters are freely available for download and can be freely distributed, but not for sale, commercial or charitable purposes.

Since the "My tent became my shelter" project is intended to be a beneficial project, a personal connection had to be established with each artist whose artwork can be purchased as part of this project. Each of them set the terms of cooperation in a way that was comfortable for them. Each graphic includes text, sharing, thoughts, and the artists' biographies. Through the text, they want to reach users not only with their graphics but also with their words. Many of them do not want to be perceived superficially as artists, graphic designers, Palestinians, or Muslims. Above all, they want to be perceived as living human beings who want to live with their families and loved ones, not just survive. They do not want to live in constant fear and discomfort, but to experience everyday joy, love, the normality of everyday life, or sadness and anger, in a safe country, not a country that has been besieged and oppressed for decades.
