The Origin of "Ego": The Fall of Humanity

A public talk going into the complex topic of the fall from our natural "divine" state to that of a mere intellectual animal mistakenly called 'man'.

The origins of our fall is alluded to in many myths and traditions - the biblical genesis being a prominent one, but others are spoken of too in some allegorical sense; the Greek myth of pandora, the gnostic Sophia or the Egyptian myth of set killing Osiris.

All these stories are fragments of a long forgotten period in our ancient history - in a time now only referenced as 'Lemuria'.

Following the lecture, we will also participate in a short group meditation with the goal of putting theory to practice - uncovering for ourselves our own intrinsic nature.
