15:15 – 15:45 Polska practice for those who will…..
a short introduction or a chance to remind yourself how to polska. Confident polska dancers willing to partner less experienced dancers also very welcome!
16:00 – 19:00 Dance to music from Bristol Spelmanslag
The dances include polskas, schottises, mazurkas, snoas and waltzes. We’ll give you some help with the dances, and you don’t need to bring your own partner. Smooth-soled shoes preferable.
If you also like playing music, you can join in a few tunes towards the end of the evening. Get in touch and I'll send you the music.
Cost: £12 (cash only) or pay in advance by PayPal. Accompanied under 16’s free.
Tea, coffee, squash provided, and a smörgåsbord of Swedish savoury and sweet snacks. Bring your own beer, wine or fizzy pop etc if you like.
Plenty of parking at the hall. Buses go from near Temple Meads station to 10 minutes walk from the dance venue. (See First Bus Bristol services 1 and 2)
