Overview
Step into the world of game design with this immersive, beginner-friendly short course. Over three half-day sessions at the Tobacco Factory, you’ll be guided through the fundamentals of environment and level design. You’ll experiment with asset layout, explore core game logic concepts, and get hands-on with 2D sprite creation. By week’s end, you’ll have your very own playable game (.exe) and the confidence to take your creativity further.
Who Should Attend
Creative minds aged 11–16 who are curious about how games are made. No prior experience is required - just bring your ideas and enthusiasm for storytelling, art, or gaming.

Note
Learners are expected to attend the course unaccompanied, while safeguarding and related permissions will be sought from parents in advance of the course starting. Fruit and drinks will be made available throughout.
