About the event

Rambling Through the Kames

Kames are glacial hills created 14,000 years ago. Join us as we hike the Hoppers Trails, rambling through the cluster of kames in the heart of the preserve. Learn which land belongs to the City and which is privately owned. We'll see historic Carter’s Spring and see if we can spot the Belted Kingfishers and Barred Owls that we ran into last week!

Meet at the Crescent Road parking lot near the pond. Bring water and sturdy shoes, preferably hiking boots.
