We are excited to announce that Horfield Theatre Company is performing The Father by Florian Zeller translated by Christopher Hampton from the 29th October to 1st November this year.
‼️OPEN AUDITIONS‼️
(everyone and all abilities welcomed) will be held on Wednesday 6th August at Horfield Parish Hall starting at 8pm and finishing at 10pm. They will take the form of individual speeches and joint scenes so actors will be needed for the duration. There may be additional auditions/callbacks on Sunday 10th August at 1 pm at the same location depending on levels of interest.
It has six characters consisting of the following
Andre. A man struggling with dementia. Oder male age 65+
Laura. His daughter. Playing age 25 to 40
Ann. His other daughter. Similar age
Pierre. Laura's husband. Similar age to her or a little older.
Woman. Initially unnamed stranger. Playing age 25 to 45
Man. Similar to above
