Muckers by Firefly Theatre Group

Join Firefly Theatre Group for a banter-filled play exploring male friendships, family bonds, and men’s role within society.

It’s Robin’s birthday. As he busies himself getting ready for his party, he is visited by a host of unexpected guests who find themselves staying put and outstaying their welcome. But as it transpires that no-one is going to turn up, the group become his accidental and enthusiastic party guests. Robin’s great hope is that a special guest, his Dad, still might make an appearance.

Exploring platonic and familial male relationships, ‘Muckers’ promises heartfelt emotion wrapped up in good old British banter.

Firefly is acta’s theatre company for men, supporting their mental health and wellbeing. The group has been meeting since October 2024, and this is the first show that they have created together.
