Kassie Krut is the new project from former Palm members Kasra Kurt, Eve Alpert, and producer Matt Anderegg, emerging after the band’s 2023 split. Now based in New York, the trio crafts strange, shimmering pop that fuses electronic minimalism with punk spirit. Their self-titled debut EP transforms everyday noise—car alarms, dial tones, feedback—into playful, tactile soundscapes, anchored by brash vocals, warped percussion, and a sly sense of humor. Drawing on influences from hyperpop to dub and electronic body music, Kassie Krut offers a warped mirror of contemporary pop—both raw and euphoric.
