Spread out the picnic, soak up the warmth of the summer sun over Narragansett Bay, and enjoy a variety of musical performances by local musicians. Wednesday nights at Blithewold are the perfect way to enjoy summer with friends and family!
Guests are encouraged to bring picnic dinners and chairs or blankets. We have 33 acres of gardens and grounds, including a 10-acre lawn, where you can enjoy the music and gorgeous views over the bay.

Due to limited space in our parking area, preregistration is required. Parking and Check-in open at 5 PM.

ABOUT THE BAND:
Fáilte, which means “welcome” in Irish, is a dynamic ensemble of accomplished musicians who perform traditional and contemporary Irish music. They bring the heritage of Ireland to their performances with songs and tunes played on fiddle, guitar, mandolin, accordion, harmonica, whistles, bodhran and percussion. Failte has performed in front of audiences at many venues including Linden Place, the Irish Ceilidhe Club of Rhode Island and Blithewold Manor, and is available to hire for concerts, festivals, weddings and special events.
