Colourful Drypoint Printmaking

In this hands-on workshop, participants will delve into the fundamentals of drypoint, a versatile intaglio technique that allows for rich and expressive mark-making.

Throughout the workshop, Jemma will share her expertise and guide you through each step of the process, from preparing your plate to pulling your own prints. You'll learn how to create intricate and textured images using simple materials and techniques that can be easily replicated at home. You'll learn how to add pops of colour to your designs through the application of Chine- Colle.

Whether you're a complete beginner or have some experience with printmaking, this workshop offers a welcoming environment for exploration and learning. By the end of the session, you'll have gained a solid understanding of drypoint printmaking and the confidence to continue practicing on your own.
