Synopsis: Anomalisa is difficult to describe. It's an animated masterpiece from Charlie Kaufman (Being John Malkovich, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind). At times tragic and hilarious, it follows a British middle-aged customer service expert, Michael, who perceives everyone as identical except for Lisa, whom he meets in a Cincinnati hotel.

Join us for this unique, thought-provoking film, which has left a mark on viewers ten years on from its original release!

When: Thursday 29th May 2025, the screening will begin at 19:00 without trailers

Where: 20th Century Flicks, 19 Christmas Steps, Bristol, BS1 5BS

Accessibility:

Steps from street level and into theatre. Toilet is available in the theatre. There is bicycle parking at the top of Christmas Steps and multiple bus stops close to the venue. Please contact organisers for futher information.

About:

This is a non-profit volunteer group set up by Severn psychiatry trainees to enjoy films together and promote discussion. Non-trainees and friends are also welcome.

Previous events have been funded by fines that the Trust has paid for doctors working overtime, however this funding model is no longer available to us. We are now offering the tickets for sale to cover the cost of hiring the venue and the Eventbrite fees.
