Believe in Bristol is thrilled to announce the 25th Anniversary season of the beloved Border Bash summer concert series.
Since its inception in 2000, Border Bash has grown from a modest gathering in a quiet city center into a signature summer tradition in a vibrant downtown. Over the past 25 years, the series has brought free live music, local vendors, and family-friendly fun to the heart of Downtown Bristol, showcasing a diverse array of musical talents, from local favorites to nationally recognized artists.
“Border Bash has become more than just a concert series; it’s a celebration of our community’s spirit and resilience,” said Maggie Elliott, Executive Director of Believe in Bristol. “We’re excited to honor 25 years of music, memories, and community connection, and we look forward to sharing this special season with everyone.”

The Boys Bio:
The Boys is more than a band -- they are a concept, a state of mind, an ever-revolving cast of musicians and music lovers based in the Appalachian Mountains of Southwest Virginia. The Boys are a bluegrass band with identity crisis -- playing the music they love from folk to funk and jazz to jamgrass. They are musical chameleons armed with bass, percussion, guitars, keys, and more often than not multiple mandolins. The Boys are acoustic and electric and chronically eclectic. Whether Miles or Monroe, Reggae or Soul, they cross boundaries and defy logic. Perhaps above all, The Boys like to have fun and bring joy with their unique tones.
Buffalo Wabs & the Price Hill Hustle Bio:
Buffalo Wabs & The Price Hill Hustle is a four-piece Americana/folk band from Cincinnati, Ohio, known for their electrifying live performances and heartfelt storytelling. Drawing inspiration from artists like Lead Belly, John Prine, and Woody Guthrie, they blend traditional American music with contemporary influences to create a sound that is both familiar and fresh. Their music ranges from high-energy, foot-stomping anthems to rich, harmony-laden ballads, offering audiences a dynamic and engaging experience.
Since their formation, the band has toured extensively across the U.S., performing at major festivals such as Buckle Up, Whispering Beard Folk Festival, and the John Hartford Memorial Festival. They have shared stages with notable acts like Reverend Peyton’s Big Damn Band, Steep Canyon Rangers, and Dom Flemons. Their discography includes albums like Revival (2015), Stranger in the Alps (2019), and their self-titled release Buffalo Wabs and the Price Hill Hustle (2024), each showcasing their evolution and commitment to authentic, soul-stirring music.
Border Bash is hosted by Believe in Bristol and would not be possible without our community sponsors.
