Bioblitz at Abbey Fishponds

Join us for an exciting evening of wildlife surveying as we explore the nature reserve at night to identify and record nocturnal species!

Earth Trust Ranger Charley, and our volunteer experts, will show you how to use specialist equipment like moth traps and bat detectors to discover the hidden world of our night-time wildlife.

This is a fantastic opportunity to connect with nature, contribute to conservation efforts in your local area, and learn more about the diverse species that call Abbey Fishponds home. The target species we’ll be looking to spot include smooth newts, bats and moths.
