Author Talk with Jordan Lopez
Join us as we chat with Bristol’s own Jordan Lopez about his exciting second novel, Looked Down Upon: A Masked Wickedness (released in March 2025), the sequel to his popular first novel The Exiled Kin (2023). Jordan will also discuss his influences and his career as a young writer who didn’t let a childhood with autism interfere with achieving his goals.
Jordan Lopez is a local author, poet, and graphic designer. Born and raised in Bristol, as a child on the autism spectrum he was misunderstood by many peers and teachers, but that never stopped him from pursuing his dreams. Even though writing wasn’t a big interest in his adolescence, he found comfort and appreciation in it as a young adult. He published his first novel on August 12th 2023. When Jordan is not writing, he is an athlete on the Bristol Special Olympics team, a cohost on The Social Chase podcast, and a member of the Bristol Diversity Council.
