About the event

Adult Program Series: Cheese Making

PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED BY JUNE 20th

Discover the useful, historic skill of cheese making at Coggeshall Farm. On your visit to the farm, you will learn the process of taking cow’s milk from a liquid to a solid. Make butter in a churn and learn the methods and tools used by farmers in the 1790’s. Enjoy a farm tour where you will walk the beautiful property, meet the animals who call Coggeshall home, and tour the historic cheese house. After your tour there will be a conversational tea time with farmers Brian and Karla Simmons.
