🏉 Sandy Mitchell 10s - Saturday 9th August at Lockleaze Sports Centre
We’re proud to be hosting the inaugural ‘Sandy Mitchell’ Bristol Combination 10s Tournament this Saturday, 9th August at Lockleaze Sports Centre named in honour of our late trustee Sandy Mitchell BEM. The tournament will annually support a Bristol-relevant charity, and this year we’re fundraising for the RFU Injured Players Foundation (IPF). This year’s fundraising is inspired by the incredible story of Liam O’Keeffe, who broke his neck playing for St Mary’s OB RFC 10 years ago. Now, Liam is preparing to become the first person with tetraplegia to push himself up Mount Kilimanjaro in a specially adapted trike aiming to raise £50,000 for the IPF.
