Tuesday July 22 | From 3PM ‘til late
As part of Belgian Beer Week, we’re dedicating a day to the masters of balance and tradition: the Trappist monks. Trappist on Tap is your chance to experience some of the world’s most respected beers, brewed inside active monasteries by monks who’ve been perfecting the craft for centuries.
This year, we’re pouring a focused selection of authentic Trappist brews—including the limited and fascinating "3 Rules" collaboration, brewed by La Trappe (Netherlands), Zundert (Netherlands), and Tynt Meadow (UK). These three monastic breweries joined forces to create a Belgian-style ale that reflects the shared values of their order: prayer, community, and hospitality.
On tap:
🍺La Trappe Blond – floral, slightly sweet, dry finish
🍺La Trappe Dubbel – deep malt, dried fruit, and smooth warmth
🍺3 Rules Collaboration – Belgian-style ale brewed by three Trappist monasteries across Europe; a true cross-border monastic effort
🍺Chimay Blanche (White) – strong golden ale with fruity esters and spicy hops (8%)
🍺Chimay Doree Gold – light, grassy, brewed originally for the monks’ own table (4.8%)
What makes a beer Trappist?
It’s not just the recipe—it’s the place, the people, and the purpose. Trappist beers must be brewed within the walls of a Trappist monastery, under the direction of the monks, and profits must support the monastery or its charities. The result? Beers of deep integrity, brewed with patience, tradition, and a kind of quiet excellence that stands the test of time.
No tickets, no ceremony—just show up and drink the beers that have inspired generations. 🍻✝️
