Grosset Long Lunch

What do you get when you cross one of Brisbane’s very best Asian restaurants with some of Australia’s greatest Rieslings? The perfect opportunity for a long lunch of course. It’s 2026 and we’re starting with a bang! We’ve been dying to put on an event at Jumbo Thai and absolutely delighted we have finally made it happen – between the food and the wine it’s going to be a sensational explosion of flavour. On the wine front we’re pulling out all the stops – you’ll be enjoying what Mike Bennie describes as ‘the most prestigious fiano in the country’, along with the trifecta of brilliance – the Alea, Springvale and, of course, the Polish Hill Rieslings. And once we are done with the whites, we will be demonstrating why Clare Valley reds are so woefully underrated here in Australia! The team at Jumbo are preparing a gorgeous 3 course menu to complement the wines. and we are strapping ourselves for a brilliant afternoon of food and wine.
