Charlie Melton is in town this October so we couldn't miss the opportunity to put a lunch on! Charlie was one of the first to recognise the value and tradition of the Barossa’s old vineyard Grenache, Shiraz and Mataro. At a time when others were pulling out vineyards of Shiraz to plant more fashionable varieties, Charlie was convincing farmers to keep their historic vineyards, saving a vital piece of the Barossa’s viticultural heritage. His eponymous Charles Melton wines are unashamedly traditional - a testament to iconic Barossa styles, culminating in his iconic Nine Popes GSM Blend. Join Darren and Charlie as they tell the story of Charles Melton Wines through a hand-selected highlights package of his magnificent wines, all matched to a fabulous three course menu in the elegant surroundings of Naldham House.
