Citizen Science and Spotlighting

Come along for a fun night of Nature Science for all ages. Hosted by Treeforce, and expert fauna spotters David Rentz and Matt Connors from JCU Nature and Adventure Club.

Pizza and Soft Drink will be provided!

Learn about the Nightlife around Redlynch and try light sheeting for insects and spotlighting for frogs and mammals. We will also learn how to identify insects using I naturalist, and the upcoming great southern Bioblitz!

You'll find us at the 3 way intersection on the Goomboora to Glenoma bike path! If driving, park at Portelli rd. Redlynch. Do Not park in Goomboora or Glenoma parks, as the gates may be locked when you are ready to leave.

Bring sturdy walking boots, and a spotlight torch if you have one. We also recommend downloading Inaturalist to your smart phone, and creating an Inaturalist login before coming.
