Spellbound is Brighton's longest-running and best-loved Alternative 80s night, and its Hallowe'en Party is always the biggest in town. And, for the first time in a while, it's happening on actual Hallowe'en! DJs Simon Price & Jayney BlamBlam spin a mix of Alt-80s monster tunes and all-time Hallowe'en anthems for a very dressed-up crowd.
Expect party-friendly bangers by The Cure, Siouxsie, The Cramps, Billy Idol, Dead Or Alive, Kate Bush, Soft Cell, The Cult, Depeche Mode etc but also “The Monster Mash”, “Thriller”, “The Time Warp”, “Ghostbusters” and all the other creepy classics you wanna hear.
There is also fiery cabaret from Laura Loops, retro horror video mash-ups on the screens, and all the usual Hallowe'en fun and nonsense.
This party happens in the Main Room of Komedia Brighton on Gardner St, Brighton from 11pm-3am. The first fifty Early Bird tickets are £8 from the Komedia Box Office:
