HAVE YOUR SAY IN THE FUTURE OF THE PEPPERPOT
Residents are invited to share ideas and identify priorities for the future of the Pepperpot area on Monday 15 December from 7:00pm.
What would you like to see? How might we urge the Council to work with conservation groups and traders for a sustainable future?
The Pepperpot is more than just the building – it includes the surrounding area: bus stops, the old tram shelter, the recycling point, the twice-weekly farmers’ market, and occasional food and coffee vendors.
On a bright day it can look magnificent against a blue sky, or dreadful when recycling bins overflow and fly tippers strike. SLRA is working with Friends of the Pepperpot (FoPP), Friends of Queens Park (FoQP), our councillors, and local MP Chris Ward to find a way forward.
A community convention will be held on Monday 15 December, professionally facilitated to generate ideas and set priorities for presentation to the Council. It will be interactive,
with small-group sessions using craft materials, Lego, and verbal feedback.
The community convention aims to spark ideas and engage residents in potential projects. How can we make this space at the heart of our
community somewhere we want to spend
time and somewhere to be proud of?
