ANDREW DUNN
Andrew Dunn is a three-time BAFTA-winning cinematographer for film and TV, including a wide range of genres. In a career which began in the seventies, his work for the big screen includes The Bodyguard, starring Whitney Houston and Kevin Costner, L.A. Story, which stars Steve Martin, The Madness of King George, The Lady in the Van, Gosford Park, directed by Robert Altman, Downton Abbey: A New Era and Bridget Jones's Baby. And for TV, he was the cinematographer for the harrowing nuclear war film Threads, broadcast in 1984, then the acclaimed drama series Edge of Darkness a year later.
Andrew has said, "“I love filming actors and I love character driven stories, so to my mind the camera also becomes a character in the story. We are not passive observers; the camera is subjective.” This will be a fascinating insight into the career of a key figure in the creative industries who shapes the look of many popular onscreen productions.
