This Friday, 7pm, The Randy Brock Group performs at AMP for Brighton's Smokin' Rock-N-Blues Festival, on Mill Pond. Also, Main Street in downtown Brighton transforms into a barbecue paradise. Experience the delicious smoked meats and sides that will line the streets of the downtown area. Throughout the event, you have the chance to enjoy a variety of food from different vendors along with local merchants, retailers, and more! Along with the feast, you’ll find a beer tent located just off Main Street where you can grab an ice-cold locally made craft beer while enjoying The Randy Brock Group performing at the AMP. During the festival Mouthwatering barbecue and vendors fill Main Street in downtown Brighton. Savor a variety of barbecue offerings, including ribs, pulled pork, brisket, and more, from local and regional vendors. Participate in the Social District by purchasing to-go cocktails from participating downtown restaurants. runs 5-11 p.m. Shoppers can explore a vendor market along Main Street.
There will also be a children's area sponsored by Pop Daddy from 5-8 p.m. Public parking is available in downtown lots and surrounding streets. Arrive early, as spaces fill up quickly. You can catch a shuttle at Brighton High School to the corner of Main Street and Second Street and Brighton Meijer to the corner of North First Street and Cedar Street The food trucks planning to participate include Boss Hog BBQ, Cinnamon Nuts and More, Hallboy BBQ, Harvest Kettle Corn, Hog Heaven BBQ and Catering, Junkyard Pit Crew and More, Slappin' Meats, Tender Bonez BBQ, Smoke N' Pig BBQ. Brighton also has a social district where visitors who've purchase alcoholic beverages from approved businesses can wander and shop.
