Karl Bray is a singer songwriter from Brighton UK and as solo artist has recorded for one of Bob Harris’s Under the Apple Tree sessions performing his single San Francisco with renowned double bassist Scott Warman. A regular at Maverick festival, Karl played with top session guitarist Joe Coombs. His first solo single, an acoustic cover of Erasures ‘A Little Respect’ was played on BBC 6 Music by Lauren Laverne under the moniker ‘The Boy Who Kicked Pigs’. Karl has since recorded a ten track album ‘Rainbows’ along with stand alone singles.

Previously, Karl was the founding member with electro rock outfit Kovak and over the years he has toured with The Levellers & supported such acts as Toyah Wilcox, Republica, Iraina Mancini, Karl Blau, Gomez, Finley Quaye, Hard Fi & Americana legend Jim White. Karl is currently working on a new album and will be releasing new music later this year.
