Nature Journaling with Alex Boon - BAS Workshop

Back in April, Alex Boon gave a wonderful talk/ demo about Nature Journaling. We are so pleased that he will be following this up with a workshop. In this one-day introduction, Alex will show you some fundamentals of nature journaling with fun prompts and exercises that are suitable for any artistic/naturalist/writing skill level.
Alex writes:
“We will begin with a simple sketchbook and pencil with some time sketching outdoors (weather permitting). You may bring a sketchbook if you prefer though a small book and pencil will be provided for you to keep. After lunch [bring packed lunch], we will return to the studio to work the morning’s observations into a page (or more!) of paintings and writing. A pool of art materials will be available for you to use, though you are welcome to bring your own. Tuition will focus on the use of Derwent Inktense pencils and water brushes (provided for you to try).”
