This is the second Drawing Dance workshop for the brand new and very exciting Bridport Dance Festival

Artist Jo Burlington will lead a workshop of experimental dynamic and expressive drawing, attempting to capture the movement, energy and gestures of the dancers. This workshop is good for all levels, from complete beginners to practicing artists; capturing movement is one of the more challenging things to do in drawing, we can but try and play and have fun with it.
Jo trained at The Ruskin School of Drawing and Fine Art, and has been exploring drawing for over 20 years. She has been collaborating with dancers for the last few years and is known locally for facilitating playful, accessible, non-judgemental and no-fail workshops. For this workshop, we will be drawing dancers from My Ballet. We will be using charcoal and ink, so there is a high chance that you will get messy, so please don't wear your best clothes.
