Metalines Studios are delighted to announce that Aviira will be returning to Bridlington for our mid summer outdoors metal show on Saturday 2nd August at the Bull & Sun!
Joining them will be Death & Taxes as well as Decrepit Youths visiting for the first time!
For those who haven't caught them before, Aviira are a three piece Metalcore band formed in Gloucester, UK in 2017, Formerly known as Avenge The Heartache. Sporting a strong social media following, Aviira are set to dominate the UK metalcore landscape with their electronic infused, vocally driven breed of metalcore.
The bands drive is to connect with listeners and offer support through their music. Life is full of up's and downs, sometimes we just need people to understand us.
Death and Taxes - "Born in 2020 to counter addiction and metal health struggles through music, a brotherhood was created through loss, our stories and musical vision. Hailing from the North of England, Death and Taxes is a collective of 4 musicians with one thing in common, the love of good time dirty rock n roll."
Decrepit Youths are a high octane, dual fronted Alt Rock band from Newcastle, UK.
The band launched in the summer of 2023. Their debut single 'Loose Ends' had immediate support, securing single of the month in 'CRACK Magazine' and playlisting on two BBC introducing shows. Their follow up single 'K*ll The Lights' gained national radio play after Alyx Holcombe aired it on her BBC Radio 1 Rock Show.
The band have radicalised a sound that has derived from past projects. Each member of the five piece offer their own hint of grit, which blends together to create an explosion of dark rock, drenched in distortion. Imprinted within heavy riff driven sounds are factions of synth-soaked textures and deep lyrics that nod towards self-sabotaged oppression.
