Join Shelby Perry, Wildlands Ecology Director, and Northeast Wilderness Trust for an adventure on the Bridgewater Hollow Bramhall Wilderness Preserve.
We will start by climbing a hill, that is steep in places, pausing periodically to note the changes in the forest as we venture further into the preserve. While immersed in this landscape, we will spend time listening to the sounds of the forest, identifying plants and animals that we meet, and practicing moving slowly through nature.
Please wear closed-toe footwear for tromping through the trailess woods in possibly steep terrain, be prepared for a 2–3-mile hike, prepare for the weather of the day and the possibility of bugs, and bring lunch and plenty of water.
Parking: Parking at the interseciton of Chateauguay Road and Walker Hill Road, in front of the gate, coordinates: 43°38'39.2"N 72°39'20.9"W
