Charity Christian Temple presents: 'The Wiz vs. The Christian journey”. Originally performed in the 80’s, this play captures the hearts of it’s viewers by adding a spiritual twist to a beloved classic. Written by Lula Sellers and revitalized by Vanisha Vereen, this modernized adaption follows Dorothy, Scarecrow, Tinman, and Lion as they face various trials and temptations in their spiritual journeys. With the Wicked Witch hot on their heels, each of them will have a choice to make and must decide which road to take. The Wiz vs. The Christian journey offers an urban flair, an unforgettable cast of characters, uplifting music, and a message that will encourage your heart. Join them on their journey!
