🧘♀️ YOGA FOR MIND | WORLD MENTAL HEALTH DAY SPECIAL 💜
This World Mental Health Day, I’m inviting you to join me for a grounding 90-minute yoga practice in Ogmore-by-Sea Hall. This class is about more than just movement, it’s about pausing, resetting, and supporting mental health for ourselves and others. I run two charity events every year and this one is always so special. Whether you’re brand new to yoga or already practice, this session is open to everyone. If you can breathe, you can practise yoga.
By joining, you’ll be giving yourself the gift of presence and helping to raise funds for Mind UK, an incredible charity supporting those struggling with mental health. So much has been achieved in the last few decades but there is still much more to go as shown by these shocking statistics:
- 1 in 4 people will experience a mental health problem of some kind
- 1 in 5 people have suicidal thoughts
- 1 in 14 people self-harm
- 1 in 15 people attempt suicide
- This affects men and women in different ways. Women are more likely to have suicidal thoughts and make suicide attempts than men, but men are 3 times more likely to take their own life than women
There are limited spaces and these are already filling up, so book early if you’d like to come along.
