Tiny Forest Discovery Day: Heol y Frenhines

Valleys of Coast, Admiral, Earthwatch Europe and Keep Wales Tidy worked with Earthwatch Europe to establish a Tiny Forest at Heol y Frenhines.

Join us on Wednesday, 15 October where we can explore your local Tiny Forests here in Heol y Frenhines! Enjoy our fun family-friendly activities, connect with nature, and meet other members of the community. You may even want to try out one of our fun science experiments!

What the event will include:

• Explore local wildlife like butterflies, bees and bugs.
• Meet like-minded people in your local community.
• Light refreshments
• Feel free to bring along a picnic and water.

How long to spend with us: 2:00pm-3:30pm. You are welcome to stay for as little or as long as you like.

Getting there: We recommend using public transport, walking or car sharing wherever possible.

Outdoor clothing is advised and if you can bring gardening gloves, that would be great too!

Please also bring a phone or tablet along with you in order to use our online science surveys. We will have printed copies on the day too if that’s not possible.
