Pencoed Trailblazers - Footpath Clearing Community Event
Following a hugely successful launch in September, the Pencoed Trailblazers are inviting volunteers to join their second monthly footpath clearing event on Saturday 18 October, from 10:00am to 12:00pm, meeting at the junction of Ystradwaun and Glyn-y-Mel (what3words: tastes.wink.backpack).
At the first event, 17 volunteers came together to clear 410 metres of footpath and collect 55kg of litter, making an immediate and visible difference to the local landscape.
The group’s mission is simple: to keep Pencoed’s footpaths clear, safe, and accessible for everyone—especially older residents, families, and those with mobility challenges.
