Introduction to the Big Meadow Search and Wildflower ID for Beginners

The Big Meadow Search is a UK, Ireland and Channel Island project developed by Carmarthenshire Meadows Group, to raise awareness and interest in grasslands and to record plant species.

In this workshop we will be joined by Big Meadow Search founder Laura Moss who will be explaining:
• What is the Big Meadow Search
• How to get involved
• Beginner’s wildflower ID session in the field

The workshop would suit adults with a keen interest in nature. No specialist knowledge is required as the content will be aimed at beginners, but more knowledgeable individuals can also be easily accommodated.

Suitable footwear for the weather conditions are recommended (i.e. walking shoes, boots or trainers with good grip).
