I am exhibiting at the Echoes of the Eagle Art Exhibition that opens at Kenfig Nature Reserve this weekend. This event is one of several this summer hosted by Kenfig Nature Reserve, in partnership with the Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust and Eagle Reintroduction Wales, to celebrate 50 years of White-tailed eagle conservation in the UK, and to tell the story of Wales' missing eagles.
My large Sea Eagle painting (acrylic on canvas, 120cm x 120cm) will enter into a sealed bid auction lasting the summer holidays alongside three smaller plein air works (oil on canvas, 33 cm x 43 cm), showing the habitats with eagles in two of them, which I painted on location at Kenfig. I intend to donate 75% of the money raised on the big paintings to Eagle Reintroduction Wales and 50% of the money raised on the smaller paintings to be split equally between ERW and Kenfig Nature Reserve. Prints of my work will also be available to purchase during the exhibition.
The exhibition launches with an evening Private View this Saturday, and is open to the public from Sunday, supported across the weekend by an Eagle Reintroduction Wales pop-up, and a White-tailed eagle talk on Sunday at 3 pm with Dr Sophie-lee Williams.
The Echoes of the Eagle Art Exhibition is on display at Kenfig Nature Reserve's Visitor Centre in the Sker Suite, 20th July - 17th September 2025. The Centre is open on Sunday 20th July, 9 am - 4.30 pm, for the launch, then normal opening hours are 9 am - 4.30 pm, Tuesday - Saturday.
