Coity History Walk (Part of the Glamorgan History Walks festival 2025)

The Glamorgan History Walks are an award winning series of guided walks to places of historical interest across the ancient county of Glamorgan. This walk takes you on a voyage of historical discovery in Coity.

This walk takes in some beautiful countryside and places of historical interest. It takes us around the village of Coity, just north of Bridgend. The area is steeped in history. The castle dates back to the Norman conquest. The site however, has been of strategic importance since the Roman era. Come along to find out why it was so important.
