WESTCHESTER - Briarcliff Manor: Pocantico Lake County Park Cleanup

Join Family Services of Westchester for a cleanup at Pocantico Lake County Park from 10 AM to 12 PM for the 14th Annual Riverkeeper Sweep. This is a rain or shine event.

Volunteers will meet at the Briarcliff Manor Trailhead entrance of Pocantico Lake County Park at Old Sleepy Hollow Rd, Briarcliff Manor, NY 10510. There are several trailheads for entry: The Briarcliff Manor Trailhead allows parking on either side of the sign. You can also park alongside the road near the entrance to Rockefeller State Park Preserve. There are three access points to the park, at the junction of Sleepy Hollow Rd and Old Sleepy Hollow Rd, in Pleasantville; from Pocantico Lake Rd, also in Pleasantville; and from Old Sleepy Hollow Rd in Briarcliff Manor.

We recommend that all Sweep volunteers bring a hat, sunscreen, a full reusable water bottle, insect repellent, work gloves and hand sanitizer.

This site is suitable for elementary-aged children with adult supervision.
