Latin Dancercise
This class will focus on having fun ex-ercising to great music learning latin dance moves such as salsa, cha, cha, and more! It is a great workout for the legs, buttock, hips, and waist.. It is beginner level so no worries about steps or moves!! The great part is NO partner is needed! You can bring a partner if you choose though!!
Wear any comfortable attire—it can range from a pair of shorts to a sexy Latin dress! Wear light weight sneakers or ballroom dance shoes.
Sharon has studied dance since age 6. She has studied tap, ballet, jazz for over 20 years and for the past 18 years she has focused intensely and competed in ballroom and latin dances at Arthur Murray, Stepping Out Studio in NYC, and Fred Astaire. She has studied with the cast of Dancing with the Stars, (Tony Dolovani, Peta Murgatroyd, Sasha Farber, Derek Hough). Sharon has competed in multiple regional, national, and world competi-tions, placing all 1st, 2nd, or 3rd placements. She won a world title (1st place) in the Smooth Silver Multi Dance Championship and 2nd place in the world Latin Silver Multi Dance Championship in 2013 in Puerto Rico. She won the National and World level 1st place in Gold (highest level) in BOTH Smooth and Latin Championship and Scholarship in 2024 in Las Vegas. She has completed all Dance Trophy exams in Bronze, Silver, and Gold receiving A+ scores. Sharon teaches fun, energetic latin exercise classes, private and small group ballroom, and choreographs/teaches wedding dances.
Sharon is flexible and can offer any of the following dances or moves from these dances: salsa, mambo, cha cha, rumba east coast swing, merengue, waltz, foxtrot, tango, viennese waltz.
No experience needed!
All classes are beginner level.
