Monday through Wednesday look like a washout, so I’m sure we’ll all be itching to get our LBCs out later this week. Thursday looks good so let’s rendezvous at one of our favorite watering holes Oskar Blues Brewery in Brevard. Let me know if you are coming particularly if you are going to be at one of the two pickup points along the route I’m leading.
Here are the details on the route I’m leading.
10:30. Leave Jud’s Brown Building.
11:00. Pick up at the other Brown Building at 11 and 25.
11:30. Pick up at Flat Rock Playhouse for our NC friends.
12:00. Arrive Oskar Blues.
Outside of the start time I reserve the right to vary on the other times.
Another Group is leaving Wilson's Corner Store at Hwy 11 and 178 at 11 AM for folks on the west side of Greenville.
Once we leave the other brown building we are going to go part way up the Greenville Watershed, over to Saluda on Saluda Road and then 176 over to Flat Rock and then Crab Creek road over to Oskar Blues. David and Julie Benson drove the watershed a week ago and it’s open. This avoids 25. Also the worst part of the watershed above Saluda Road.
If someone on the west side wants to get a group going from a location on your side jump in. We’re shooting for a 12PM arrival at Oskar’s. Whoever gets there first leave enough beer for the 2nd group!
Here is what you might need to know.
Jud’s Brown Building
Corner of Lister Rd and Hwy 14 in Landrum. The driveway is on 14. Don’t plug in Jud’s House address. That’s on Lister. Building is 1.9 miles south of the intersection of Hwy 11 and Hwy 14. This address will get you there and then look for the FBBC yard sign at the end of the driveway.

This is on Hwy 11 on the NW side of the intersection of Hwy 11 and Hwy 25. Looks like an old brown one room schoolhouse. There is a gravel pad in front to park. This address will get you close.
