Choral Evensong for the Feast of St. Philip

You're invited to a beautiful sung service of Evening Prayer as we celebrate the feast day of our patron saint. Admission is free and all are welcome!

It's the premiere of two new musical works by Jesse Kaiser: 'Magnificat', dedicated to our Rector the Rev. Elizabeth Roles; and an anthem, 'Great Egret, the Sentinel', whose poetic text written by the Rev. Judith Davis, Ph.D, has been musically brought to life and dedicated to her.

Additional music offerings include the Margaret Burk Preces and Responses and Paul Smith’s Nunc dimittis. Please join us for a peaceful and contemplative hour of music, readings, and prayer in celebration of these treasured clergy and the parish of St. Philip’s.
