I Beherit sono una leggenda del black metal finlandese. La band nasce nel 1989 da Nuclear Holocausto Vengeance (Marko Laiho), Demonic Fornication (Jari Vaarala) and Sodomatic Slaughter (Jari Pirinen), con un unico obiettivo: suonare "the most primitive, savage, hell-obsessed black metal imaginable".
Le loro rare esibizioni dal vivo si sono intensificate a oltre trent'anni dal loro debutto.
