Bells Across PA

Jefferson Memorial Cemetery & Funeral Home is honored to host one of the Liberty Bells from Bells Across PA, a statewide initiative marking America’s 250th birthday with replica bells on display in each of Pennsylvania’s 67 counties through 2026.

The Jefferson bell, "Windows into History," represents our historic cemetery in the South Hills of Pittsburgh. Designed by local artist Scott Saloney, the bell pays homage to the historical statuary, architecture and site's rich history, with imagery that mirrors the vibrant glass artwork found throughout our scenic grounds.

The bell will remain on display in the Jefferson Mausoleum starting Thursday, December 11, 2025, through December 31, 2026, at 401 Curry Hollow Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15236. The public is invited and encouraged to view the bell. Mausoleum hours of operation are 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday thru Saturday and 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday.
