And The Vibe Is Write!: The Reading Writer’s Book Swap invites you to experience a book swap with a fun writer's twist. Enjoy a creative, community-centered experience for writers who love to read and readers who love to write.

Hosted by My Ambitions As A Writer, this two-hour session invites you to connect with fellow creatives through the books you love to read and the stories you’re writing now.

The theme of the book swap is Black Books Matter, in celebration of Black Books Matter Day that was proclaimed annually on the first Saturday of August in Prince George’s County by Angela Alsobrooks, Prince George’s County Executive. Black Books Matter Day was founded in 2021 to recognize authors of the African diaspora and the readers who support and are empowered by the culturally diverse representation of their literary works.
