The Marlborough will hold our popular annual summer Afternoon Tea event on Thursday 28 August from 2:30-4:30pm.
Returning to the Hutton Cricket Club Pavilion, on Hall Green Lane, CM13 2QT this year, we will be royally served with the traditional fayre of sandwiches, scones, cakes and tea / coffee, by our hostess Nicola Parry.
We will include a Bring & Buy sale too, to raise funds for our Autumn production, plus there will be a raffle as well. Any donations for the Bring & Buy will be gratefully received. (Please can you add a price tag to any items that you bring along.)
We will also award the Cass Cup to its new recipient, (see below). Please specify any dietary requirements when booking your places.

Janet Cass Memorial Cup
Last year we inaugurated the Janet Cass Memorial Cup which is awarded annually to any Club member who has provided outstanding service to the Club over the previous year. The first recipient was a very pleased Juliette Bird, who was awarded the cup by Janet’s son, Philip, who attended the Cup launch at our 2024 Afternoon Tea. This year, we would like to ask you as Club members to let us know who you would like to nominate to win the cup in 2025. The person with the most nominations will be presented with the Cup at the Afternoon Tea event on 28 August . Please email the secretary with your nominations by 31 July.
