HST Concealed Carry is an advanced application course that focuses on weapon manipulation and problem solving for real world threats while carrying a handgun concealed. Most confrontations occur within close quarters, so it is imperative to maximize any opportunities to create space and time to effectively draw a handgun. This class will emphasize techniques to transition from physical tactics skills to handgun gun fighting skills. The class is approximately 4 hours, and the cost is $90 per person.
Training topics:
• Self-defense physical tactics
• Drawing from concealment
• Close quarters gun fighting
• Shooting from unconventional positions
• Weapon retention
This class is not for novice shooters and requires demonstration of strong gun handling skills prior to acceptance into the class.
Needed equipment:
• Handgun with a minimum of two magazines
• Handgun holster and spare magazine(s) carrier
• 250 rounds handgun ammo
• Hat, eye and ear protection
• Training dummy gun (red gun) is optional
• Concealment garments
• Refreshments and water
Hoosier State Training LLC provides self-defense training and firearm instruction for individuals and groups including businesses and church security ministries. He has been providing self-defense training solutions to individuals, businesses and church security ministries since 2008. Dan is active with the security ministry at his church and assists other churches with establishing their security ministries.
